FAQ

  • What if I am only looking for an answer to specific personal ancestry question?
Please contact me, I would love to discuss your questions with you and find a price that works for you.
  • What happens if you can't find all the information I wanted?
I cannot promise I can find every detail to every person. Some of our ancestors were not sure when they were born, died in unknown places or frontiers with poor documentation, or disappeared from history.
  • Where are you getting your information?
I use a wide variety of resources to paint a vivid picture of your ancestors. I use federal censuses, state censuses, social security indexes, state death indexes, findagrave.com, old family history books, state history books, country genealogical societies, marriage indexes, birth indexes, World War I and II drafts, US Department of Veteran Affairs indexes, church records, US City Directories, Civil War records, death and birth certificates, wills and probates, immigration records, naturalization records, and family stories, obituaries, and educated guess work.
  • Where did you get your training?
I am self taught, honing my skills through my own family research since childhood. I have used these types of records and research techniques for over a decade.
  • What if I have a question not answered here?
Please contact me by sending an email and I will be happy to answer your question.
